How I can help!

Children, Adolescents and Adults' Social Communication Therapy
Neuro-Affirming Social Communication Therapy
This therapy supports children and adults to communicate and connect in ways that feel natural and authentic to them. It recognises and respects neurodiversity (including autism, ADHD, and sensory differences), working with differences rather than viewing them as difficulties, and focusing on strengths rather than encouraging conformity.
I provide personalised strategies to build communication skills, confidence, and meaningful relationships across home, school, work, and community settings. Therapy also supports self-advocacy, social confidence, and reducing anxiety in social situations.
Outcomes include:
-
Improved communication and relationships
-
Increased confidence and self-advocacy
-
Greater sense of belonging and wellbeing

Speech and Literacy Therapy
This service supports literacy, reading comprehension, speech clarity, and intelligibility for both children and adults. It aims to help individuals engage more confidently in everyday environments such as daycare, school, workplaces, day programs, and group homes.
For young children, therapy focuses on building sound awareness and discrimination skills to support early literacy development. For adolescents and adults, support may include strategies to visualise and understand complex texts, improving reading comprehension.
I use evidence-based approaches such as Orton-Gillingham and Sound-Write, tailoring therapy to your child’s individual strengths, needs, and learning style.

Language and Communication
This service supports children and adults who have difficulty expressing themselves, understanding others, building relationships, or participating in learning and social activities. This includes individuals with speech sound difficulties, challenges connecting with peers, or changes in communication following stroke, brain injury, or neurological conditions.
I take a family-centred approach, working closely with parents and caregivers to support communication in everyday interactions. As an Advanced-trained ESDM (Early Start Denver Model) practitioner, I provide parent coaching to help build communication skills through play and daily routines. Together, we develop practical strategies that support development and create meaningful opportunities for communication at home and in the community.
I also support individuals using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), embedding tools and strategies within natural environments to promote functional communication.
My goal is to build confidence and capacity, helping individuals strengthen communication, participation, and connection with others.

Swallowing & Eating Disorder
This service supports individuals where there are safety or health concerns with swallowing food and drinks. This may include people who experience eating and drinking difficulties, such as challenges with chewing, coughing, chest infections, weight loss, fussy eating, or changes related to progressive conditions.
I also support families to create safe, positive, and enjoyable mealtime experiences at home, providing practical strategies that make eating more manageable and meaningful in everyday routines.
